Here I am in lovely Virginia; tomorrow I have a college interview. I'm a little nervous, but very excited. Coming to Virginia from Ohio was a wonderful drive; I really want to buy a mountain in West Virginia and live in a cabin. It is so unbelievably gorgeous. I'm kinda tired; and realized that I get to volunteer with children all next week; so this might be interesting...hopefully that will go well.

Good luck on the interview. That's a beautiful part of the country.

Spending a week with the kids sounds like very tiring fun.

I think it went well; I need a better ACT score it seems though; but that shouldn't be too hard. It truly is, it is simply gorgeous.

XD It will be, I love spending time with children; I always watch children at church too, and I'll be carrying two, with another hang on my leg, a tween at my shoulders whining about her sister the other tween on my other should, and I'll be trying to control a running demon child. XD It's always fun though.

It (hopefully) should be easier by now.

Yep, that's exactly the way kids are. :XD: it is fun.

I think what kills me is having to take a break during the test. >.<

Oh kids, I just adore them. I'll miss going to church once I start college; the colleges I'm looking at are a good distance away from my church; the one I just visited doesn't even have an Orthodox church nearby.

Really? Most people need a break.

They're great. What are you going to do if you can't go to an Orthodox church?

It gets me out of my focus; I might have mild ADD, and dyslexia, so when I manage to get into a groove I need to keep it constant or else I loose all focus.

Well, I'll go to church when I visit home, I'd keep the fast, have a more regular prayer life (which I should have, but hey, no one's perfect.) and try to keep my room as peaceful as possible. I'd have an icon corner of course. I might visit other churches nearby, maybe a Catholic church, but I didn't even see any of those.

Ah. That would make it harder.

Prayer is a huge help. And a peaceful room can do a lot.

Yeah, a bit.

Prayer is very important, and peaceful rooms can help. It's really fortunate. ^-^

Alright! Kick some ass in that interview! I've never been around there, but mountains are really pretty and I would love to live in the mountains too. Have fun with those kids, whatever you're doing

WOOOOOOOOOO!!!! HECK YEAH; THEY'LL BE BEGGING FOR ME TO GO TO SCHOOL THERE!!! AND THEY'LL JUST THROW MONEY AT ME!!!

The mountains might be different from what you've seen; they are very very rounded, and gentle, (The mountains are the oldest still existing mountains; when they were at their prime they would have put Everest to shame.) !!!You can make your farm in the mountains!!! I could still live in the backyard.

I don't know what I'm doing yet; but these kids scare most people because many of them have been to Juvenal Detention Centers and what not, but I could beat them down with one hand tied behind my back. :stinkeye:
